These classes will focus on the performance skills required in agility and building the bond between you and your dog. During these classes, you will develop the fundamental skills required in agility: introduction to contact equipment, proper jumping form, how to train weave poles, handling cues and how to respond to the various cues, and how to transition from obstacle focus to handler focus. These classes build upon each other and completion of all three will prepare the handler/dog team to participate in Novice Agility classes.

The program goals include: increased strength and speed; improved flexibility and muscle endurance; increased understanding regarding movement and mobility; reduction of risk of injury; increased confidence; and attention to correct and efficient performance of exercises.
